365 DoW: Day Thirty One

3 May 2016

Today’s prompt: The Little Things! Describe a little thing—one of the things you love that defines your world, but is often overlooked.

The little thing that I’m choosing to talk about today is tea.  Now, I know what you’re thinking: tea isn’t overlooked, people love tea, but people don’t appreciate tea the way that I do.

Tea is one of those little things that makes my world go round.  There pretty much isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t have tea at some point—literally, I drink it every day!  When I’m feeling sad, I’ll make a cup of tea, when I’m getting snuggly to watch a movie, I’ll make a cup of tea, when I’m reading a book, I’ll make a cup of tea.  I drink tea for pretty much any reason.  It’s something so small that has become such a big part of my life.

Tea makes me think of home, it makes me feel content, and it really makes my day just a little bit brighter.  I honestly don’t know what I’d do if the world ran out of tea!
