Christmas Albums That I Play On Repeat

Every year, there are debates about Christmas music and whether people love it or hate it.  I am one of those people that loves Christmas music.

However, I’m very specific about my Christmas music.  While I will happily put on the Christmas station on my radio, when I’m actively choosing what Christmas music to play, there are a few albums that I always play on repeat.  These albums have been a part of my life since I was a child and I will always cherish them.

Without further ado, here’s my list of my go-to Christmas albums (in no particular order).

1) Christmas Classics by Bing Crosby

2) The Very Best of Burl Ives Christmas by Burl Ives

3) Muppet Christmas Carol

4) The Christmas Album by Neil Diamond

5) Rockin’ Little Christmas by Various Artists

6) Christmas by Manheim Steamroller

7) A Pan Flute Christmas

These are the albums of my family’s Christmases.  We always have them on while baking, decorating, wrapping presents, and especially on Christmas Eve and Christmas day.  Bing Crosby and Burl Ives are classics, but Neil Diamond is one of our most played.  My family has had this album almost as long as I’ve been alive, so it’s one of my most beloved Christmas ones.

The Muppet Christmas Carol album is a given, as it’s my favourite Christmas movie as well.  I listen to this album all year long—yes, I’m one of those people.  I am constantly breaking out into the songs from this album.  It’s such a fun one.

Aside from putting on the radio and listening to the Christmas channel, these albums are the ones you will hear if you enter my house during November and December.  These are our family classics.

Do you have any Christmas albums that you listen to on repeat?  What’s your go-to Christmas music choice?
